Serve Austin

Austin, TX

With gorgeous weather, miles of trails, and hundreds of live music venues, it’s no wonder that nearly 120 people move to Austin, Texas every single day. One of the safest big cities in the US, Austin has the best economy in the country and is home to both the University of Texas and the world’s largest urban bat population. While Austinites are proud of their weird city, there’s still a lot of work to be done. Austin also claims the title of most economically segregated city in the country. One out of every five adults in Central Texas cannot read or write well enough to complete a job application, and over 60% of our students come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Serving in Austin is your chance to help break this cycle by making a difference in the lives of others.
